Everything seems to be working okay - apart from one thing - my ESS Technology ES1978 Maestro 2E sound card. What's strange is that this card worked fine under Mandrake 9.0 and 9.1 RC1.

The install i did didn't have the alsa mixer GUI installed so i grabbed that. I turned the speaker on and upped all the volumes. So i reboot and there's still no sound. I can see where it's booting where it tries to start the alsa mixer and says that it's already running.
