The man had a bicycle and lots of items.July 17, 8:32 a.m. A resident on Wilson Street, near Buena Vista Drive, said a neighbor had been feeding the Wilson Street resident’s potbellied pig and refused to stop when asked.July 17 - Police arrested a 27-year-old man for armed robbery, carjacking, joyriding, and hit-and-run on Poinsettia Lane, near Aviara Parkway. His bail was $100,000. July 15, 10:05 a.m. A woman told police that employees at a skin care shop in the Carlsbad Premium Outlets mall on Paseo Del Norte had tried to scam her elderly mother by giving her a facial and selling her $3,000 worth of products. The daughter was able to return most of the items, but the shop refused to reimburse her $378.July 15 - A 48-year-old woman from Vista was arrested on El Camino Real, at a shopping mall just south of state Route 78, for battery, shoplifting and bringing drugs into jail. Someone at the YMCA Aquatics Park on Agua Hedionda Lagoon called about four people fishing nearby. One of the fishermen insisted on fishing on park property, despite being asked to leave for the second day in a row.ESCONDIDO. July 10, 11:20 a.m. An officer observed a car with dark tinted windows, a violation of the California Vehicle Code, and stopped it. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license. The victim was taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Officers searched the area and found the suspect hiding in a nearby drainage culvert. He was arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.July 6, 11:40 p.m. A theft was reported at the 7-Eleven store on West Mission Avenue. An employee reported that a man stole beer from the store earlier and had returned to the store. An officer tried to stop the man as he left the store, but the suspect ran and the officer quickly caught him. The suspect tried to place the officer in a headlock and punch the officer in the head.

The officer was able to gain control of the suspect, who was arrested on charges of theft, vandalism, and felony resisting arrest. The suspect and the officer were treated at a hospital for minor injuries.OCEANSIDEJuly 16, 8:23 p.m.

A 28-year-old Oceanside man was arrested for public intoxication on Mission Avenue, just west of North Coast Highway.July 16, 6 p.m. Police arrested an 18-year-old Oceanside man for receiving stolen property near the intersection of Mission Avenue and Tremont Street.July 16, 5:04 a.m. A 24-year-old Oceanside man was arrested on Industry Street, near Oceanside Boulevard, for driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in injury.July 14, 10:43 p.m.

A 37-year-old man was arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia near the intersection of North Santa Fe Avenue and East Drive.July 16, 4:17 p.m. Deputies sent to a reported traffic accident on North Santa Fe Avenue, near Guajome Regional Park, arrested a 32-year-old woman for hit-and-run resulting in injuries, driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in injuries, driving with a suspended license, and battery of an officer.
