I've got (3) phones (6mo old) that now just bootloop when restarted. Some started-out complaining about certain services stopping ('com.lge.ime has stopped', etc); I tried to factory reset the via the KitKat restore process (settings/backup & reset/factory data reset), but that's apparently not enough to get them back to 'factory fresh'.

Once restarted, they just loop between the LG logo and the TracFone logo.The manual states that you can enter the restore mode with volumedown + power, but my experience (and everyone else's), is that the button combo doesn't initiate the restore.Is there anyone who's had any luck?.
