All the new stuff is pretty self explanatory, though I gotta say I'd be pissed at paying for it considering how a lot of it is bug fixes which they haven't mentionedI can't get my head around what the fsck they're doing with amputate mode though. Everything works dandy, except you can't use the pitch controller on your deck, only the software one. The manual says this is to stop the pitch jumping when you switch between internal and external control. HOWEVER in 1.5 they've added a pitch lock for when you turn external control off (globally), THEY JUST HAVEN'T SODDING PUT IT INTO AMPUTATE MODE AS WELL AND ENABLED EXTERNAL PITCH CONTROL!Jesus Henry Christ sort it out! There was a time when it wasn't particularly cool to be a DJ to most people. Lets not make it a clicky snobby thing. We all play music we or our friends & punters think is cool in the best most creative way we know how, with the tools & mediums that we as individuals enjoy & prefer using the most. Thats all it is. Pioneers like Herc & GMF were using things in a new way. They werent very old school were they?
